Fourth choice at 9-2 odds Wildcat Red won an absolute thriller, by just a head over 3-1 second choice General a Rod as the two engaged in a furious battle down the stretch. 2-1 favorite Top Billing finished third and collected 10 points while 72-1 shot East Hall got up for fourth. Medal Count, Commissioner, Our Caravan, We Miss Artie, Best Plan Yet, C. Zee, Almost Famous, and Hesinfront completed the order of finish. Casiguapo scratched.
