In arguably the most important race of the weekend, the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park for Kentucky Derby hopefuls, Shug McGaughey's fast improving, 5-1 second choice Orb earned his first stakes win in his first stakes start and along the way earned a valuable 50 points on the "Road to the Kentucky Derby". CashCall Futurity winner and overwhelming 3-5 favorite Violence was second and Speak Logistics finished another 6 3/4 lengths back in third. Majestic Hussar held on fourth, followed by He's Had Enough, Cerro, Sr. Quisqueyano, Joshua's Comprise, and Elmutahid. Falling Sky and Sky Captain scratched.
