Instead of the overwhelming favorite and 2011 winner of this race stealing the show it was 15-1 fifth choice Devious Intent that posted her first graded stakes victory in the field of nine by a neck in near record time over 26-1 shot Magic Hour and Groupie Doll who was a somewhat disappointing third. Molly Morgan was fourth, followed by Ice Cream Silence, Awesome Flower, Itsabeautifulthing, Sharp Sally, and Twice the Lady. Assets of War, Ciguaraya, and Dixie Strike scratched.
