Bolt d'Oro Wins Del Mar Futurity at Del Mar Race Track

Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California hosted the $300,000 G1 Del Mar Futurity on Labor Day Monday, September 4. Two-year olds took to Del Mar's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. Ruis Racing's 7-2 third betting choice Bolt d'Oro bided his time and came back from eighth to win by three-quarters of a length. 3-1 second choice Zatter finished a respectable second in the field of nine with previously unbeaten 5-2 race favorite Run Away getting in for third. Dia de Pago was fourth with Soul Streit, Tatters to Riches, Gracida, Master Ruler and Fleetwood completing the order of finish.
