Alpha Delta Stables' homebred and heavy 2-5 favorite Lewis Bay did what most expected and posted the easy 5 1/4 length front-running victory. 23-1 shot Flora Dora rallied to claim second in the field of seven, 7 1/4 lengths clear of third place finisher Eskenformoney who was sent off at 6-1 odds. Smartly Agree was fourth while Rachel's Temper, Linda Mimi and 9-2 second choice Innovative Idea completed the order of finish.
