Las Vegas, NV - The $300,000 Grade 2 Gallant Bloom Handicap went down at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York on Saturday, September 20. Chester and Mary Broman's homebred Artemis Agrotera did what most expected and emerged victorious in the 6 1/2 furlong test as the 2-5 favorite. La Verdad finished a good second with Willet third. Merry Meadow, Classic Point, and Bridgehampton completed the order of finish.
