Las Vegas, NV - The $500,000 Grade 1 Frizette Stakes went down at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York on Saturday, October 4. 24-1 shot Jay Em Ess Stable's homebred By the Moon pulled the upset by 2 1/4 lengths - earning an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Fillies as a result. Wonder Gal finished a good second while Feathered got up for a good third. 19-10 favorite Condo Commando was a disappointing fourth while Cayman Croc, Ring Knocker, and 2-1 second choice Cavorting completed the order of finish.
