Las Vegas, NV - The $600,000 Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic went down at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York on Saturday, September 28. Little Mike ended a string of disappointing results by posting the upset win at 7-1 odds while 4-5 favorite Big Blue Kitten finished second. Little Mike, in turn earned an automatic bid into the Breeders' Cup Turf on November 2. Real Solution finished a length behind the top pair in third. It was only a head farther back in fourth to Slumber while Twilight Eclipse, Imagining, King Kreesa, Nutello and Joes Blazin Aaron completed the order of finish. Boisterous scratched.
