Private Zone Wins Cigar Mile at Aqueduct
Las Vegas, NV - The main event on a busy weekend of North American Thoroughbred racing - the 500,000 Grade 1 Cigar Mile took place at Aqueduct Racetrack in South Ozone Park on Saturday, November 29. Last year's runner-up in this race, 9-2 shot Private Zone broke through by five lengths in wire-to-wire fashion. 5-2 favorite Street Circle finished second with Bourbon Courage finished a neck back in third. Big Business, Vyjack, Noble Moon, Regally Ready, Transparent, and Itsmyluckyday completed the order of finish.
