A single ticket holder collected $139,474 for his Pick Six bet at Del Mar when his ticket was the only one to correctly select the final six winners on the track’s Sunday program.
The $3,840 ticket, purchased on track at Del Mar through DMTC Bets mobile app, became the fifth solo Pick Six winner in the shore oval’s first 20 days of racing.
The winning wagering sequence presented itself in the following order:
Race 4 -- #8 No Wine Untasted ($21.40); Race 5 -- #2 Rijeka ($16.40); Race 6 -- #2 Myrcella ($6.40); Race 7 -- #10 Spin Lightning ($15.80); Race 8 -- #2 Shadow Sphinx ($10.20), and Race 9 -- #2 Give Me a Hint ($20.40).
Del Mar’s Pick Six wager will have a mandatory payout this coming Saturday (8/18) when the track’s premier race – the $1,000,000 TVG Pacific Classic – will be the featured attraction on a stakes tripleheader card.
