Run Away 8-5
Simon Callaghan trained colt has five career starts and four nice wins and a third-place finish. Last time out was a comeback win after racing in last in the minor Barretts Juvenile Stakes at Los Alamitos September 23 which followed an OK third as favorite in the G1 Del Mar Futurity here September 4 and a successful graded stakes debut - a win by 3 1/2 lengths in the G2 Best Pal Stakes on this track August 12.
Before that was a win in the listed 5 1/2-furlong Santa Anita Juvenile Stakes by 1 1/2 lengths July 3 and a convincing win at first asking on that track May 26. Run Away is the most experienced entry in the field and has represented himself very well so far against top company. He shoots for a second graded stakes win Saturday and third stakes win from post 3 with Flavien Prat guiding him.
Beautiful Shot 5-2
Keith Desormeaux trained Ringling has two career starts and two nice wins. He makes his graded stakes debut off a successful stakes bow - a 1 1/4 length win in the minor Speakeasy Stakes at Santa Anita October 15 after his nice maiden score after rallying rom 10 lengths back at first asking - on this track August 27. Beautiful Shot tries to remain unbeaten Saturday in his step up in competition - from post 5 with Kent Desormeaux in the reins.
Mourinho 9-5
Has two career starts for trainer Bob Baffert with one win and a second-place finish. He won his debut - at Santa Anita September 30 and followed that win a decent second behind Beautiful Shot in his stakes debut - the minor Speakeasy Stakes also at Santa Anita October 15. Mourinho has been competitive so far and hopes for a breakthrough win in his biggest race to date - from gate 2 with Drayden Van Dyke in the saddle.
Here Is Happy 8-1
Has three career starts with one win and a third-place finish. He won his debut - on this track August 31 and has since raced in two minor stakes - an OK third behind Beautiful Shot and Mourinho last time out in the Speakeasy Stakes at Santa Anita October 15 followed a fifth in the minor Barretts Juvenile Stakes at Los Alamitos September 23. Here Is Happy has been OK in his career and searches for a career-defining win Saturday from gate 4. Joe Talamo gets the call.
Italiano 10-1
Will race for the third time for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer having posted one win so far. The win came last time out at Santa Anita October 21 after a fourth in his debut - at Los Alamitos September 22. Italiano hopes to keep his upward trend going Saturday when he leaves from the outside gate 6 with Mike Smith guiding him.
Greyvitos 20-1
Adam Kitchingman trained colt will hit the track for the third time looking for his first win. He arrives off a third in a MSW at Santa Anita October 21 after an eighth in his debut - on that track July 1. Greyvitos steps into stakes company for the first time searching for a huge improvement and will leave from the rail with Victor Espinoza aboard.
