Hollywood Juvenile Championship at Hollywood Park
Las Vegas, NV - The up-and-comers take center stage at Betfair Hollywood Park on Saturday July 14th when the 73rd running of the Grade 3 Hollywood Juvenile Championship is run. Two year olds will show their stuff when they go six furlongs on Hollywood Park's main track for their share of the $200,000 purse.
A field of seven two year olds has been assembled for the Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes. It goes early, as race 2 on Hollywood Park's Saturday card. Post time is 1:31 PM. 2012 Hollywood Juvenile Championship Race Favorites
Amarish - undefeated in two career starts, Amarish is coming off an impressive 4 ½ length win in the Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stakes to follow up a 7 ¾ length score in his debut - a Maiden Special Weight here on May 26th. The last two winners of the Will Proctor have gone on to win this race - Amarish will be looking to become the third!
Carson's Crown - John Sadler trained Carson's Crown won his only career start here on June 14th by ¾ lengths and has to be on the radar for the Juvenile Championship.

Scherer Magic - John Sadler's other entry also had a good showing on June 14 th - a 7 ¼ length score in his debut on this track.
Just Call Me Al - won his debut on this track back in May but most recently finished a very disappointing fifth in the Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stakes on this track on June 16 th. Trainer Mike Harrington has had a decent history at this race and will hope that his trainee can carry the torch.
Strong Wind - has raced three Maiden Special Weight races in his career with a fourth, a third and finally a win last time out here on June 30th by an impressive 6 ¼ lengths. p>
